15 April 2015 started as any other Sunday in summer, had breakfast, went to the beach, swimming 6k preparing for the Auckland Marathon swim the following Sunday, with my wife, Pauline and some other friends. It was an uneventful swim, shrowered and went for a coffee and scone.   A heart attack struck at 11:00am, my wife recgnised something was wrong and bundled me in the car, an hour later i had a stent and the blood began to flow normally.
